Preston Market

Preston Market, which opened in 1970; is one of Melbourne's traditional retail markets. The unique atmosphere is spread over two street blocks filled with a diverse mix of traders. The market includes fresh fruit and vegetable, butchers, seafood, Poultry and delicatessens. You can also find stalls brimming with giftware, fresh bakery and cakes, clothing and toys. With plenty of hustle and bustle this charming market offers over 130 stalls. Located next to Preston Station, which is a 20-minute train ride from the CBD in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
