NMIT

The Department of Horticulture at NMIT offers an extensive range of courses at Certificate and Diploma levels. The qualifications obtained are nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

NMIT offers trade and post trade training in the following areas:

  • Arboriculture
  • Floristry
  • Landscaping
  • Nursery
  • Parks and Gardens
  • Turf Management
  • Conservation and Land Management
  • Hydroponics
  • Tissue Culture

Enrolment/Information sessions for 2007 will be held on the 30th November, 2006 & 29th January, 2007 at Fairfield Campus, Yarra Bend Road, Fairfield. 4 - bpm (follow the signs)

ALL COURSES OFFERED BY THIS INSTITUTE ARE NATIONALLY ACCREDITED.

Certificate 2 in Floristry - 3 days per week for one semester ($881, Concession $299)*

Certificate 3 in Floristry - Part - time - One day per week ($544, Concession $240 per year)*

Certificate IV in Floristry Part - time & flexible delivery. Design & Large Scale Floristry is assessed at MIFFS ($350, Concession $265 per year)

*Includes all materials which students take home
