South West Institute of TAFE is the leading provider of vocational education and training in the south west of Victoria. Our award winning Hospitality and Tourism Department offers courses including; Commercial Cookery Certificates II & III, training for apprentices and trainees, and a full range of hospitality courses from Certificate II through to a Bachelor of Management/Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management run asa joint program with Deakin University.

Our Rural and Horticulture Department offers a range of courses from Certificate II Traineeships through to the Diploma in Horticulture. The online delivered Diploma in Horticulture is the only such qualification in Australia. This innovative course provides students with skills relevant to most horticulture sectors, offering knowledge and practical work in areas such as landscaping, nursery and production horticulture.
