Floristry at Holmesglen Institute of TAFE

Holmesglen Institute of TAFE provides creative, skilled floristry training to match the demands of industry for those wishing to pursue a career in Floristry. Holmesglen offers Certificate II and III in Floristry plus apprenticeship training.

All Floristry students are given the opportunity to develop their skills and creativity with practical experience at the Institute. The students create arrangements for special Holmesglen events and floral displays for the Institute’s public areas.

Students develop both traditional and contemporary styles in their creative arrangements including wedding and funeral designs.

Floristry students have access to a wide range of floristry consumables and equipment. Students work regularly with cut flowers, foliage and plants to develop their creative flair. The department is well resourced with a specialty classroom, storeroom and coolroom.
