Description:
- very popular variety from Thailand
- not so common in Australia, where it makes up less than 5% of the market
- small elongated fruit with a green to white skin and a pink blush when ripe
- very sweet flesh that can be eaten as a mature green or ripe fruit
- thin skin and a mild sweet taste
- flavour is best when fully ripe, it is quite sour when green
- green fruit are about ¾ the size of ripe fruit, and are best used in Asian coking
- Available: October to late January
