Les Toques Blanches

Executive Chefs Association of Melbourne

Les Toques Blanches Victorian Chapter is an organisation of professional Executive chefs, food service and hospitality industry companies in Melbourne, exchanging knowledge and experience with the aim of continuously developing the culinary arts and the promotion of hospitality in Victoria.

The Club fosters an environment of fellowship encouraging personal development and opportunity for further education. Recreational activities are an integral part of life for the Club. They form the basis for friendship for members, their families and friends.

Les Toques Blanches Victorian Chapter was founded in 1986 by Patrick Biddlecome as President. Members partook in the first 'Chefs Table Luncheon' in 1989, followed by attending the annual Family Picnic Day. This would soon evolve into regular dinners and activities.

Throughout the calendar year Les Toques Blanches members contribute to the industry via their involvement in The Award of Excellence Apprentice Competition, The Culinary Pro Am Competition and The Annual Daryl Cox Competition. The association honours Chefs and Industry leaders for their contribution to the culinary profession with the annual 'Pioneers of the Industry' award.
