Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE (GOTAFE) is one of the largest regional Institutes in Victoria. GOTAFE offers Certificate and Diploma Courses, Short Courses, New Apprenticeships and specialised industry training, and currently has more than 15,000 students enrolled. Courses are delivered full-time and part-time, and off-campus, and in the workplace, with on-line courses continually being developed to offer students a wide range of study options.
GOTAFE offers a wide range of courses from Agriculture, Art and Design, Business Studies, Information Technology, Hospitality, Health and Community Services, and Sport and Recreation.
Located across Goulburn North East Victoria, GOTAFE has major campuses located at Shepparton, Wangaratta, Seymour and Benalla; however activities are conducted locally, statewide, nationally and internationally. Education and training is delivered to the community, business sector, industry, local and State government and Not-for-profit sector.

In studying with GOTAFE students 'Choose Success', as in a recent national Student Outcomes Survey more than 80% of GOTAFE graduates were successfully employed following the completion of their studies. Surveyed graduates also rated the quality of our courses as high, with 82% rating the course greater than four out of five.
Hospitality & Event Management:
GOTAFE is nestled in the Goulburn North East Region of Victoria, famous for its world-class wine and gourmet food. The Hospitality Industry is one of the largest employers in the region, offering a wide variety of exciting careers.
The GOTAFE Hospitality and Event Management Department employs passionate staff who constantly strive to enhance Hospitality Industry Standards with initiatives such as, the Master Class Series, Hospitality Industry Advisory Committee meetings and participation in regional food and wine events.
Hospitality and Event Management staff have extensive Industry experience, having worked in some of Australia's renowned restaurants and hotels.

Horticulture:
GOTAFE delivers Production Horticulture education and training from two campus locations, one in the heart of Victoria's major orchard producing centres at Shepparton and the other at Wangaratta which is ideally located close to many of the food, viticulture and winemaking enterprises in North East Victoria.
The William Orr Campus at Shepparton has been servicing the production horticulture industry, including orchards, hydroponics and vegetable growing, for many years, while the Christensen Lane Campus at Wangaratta delivers training to viticulturists, mushroom growers, green tea growers, hydroponic growers as well as to local orchardists, nut producers and berry growers.

Both the Shepparton and Wangaratta Campuses operate training restaurants to facilitate the training of hospitality students using a simulated industry environment. The restaurants are open to the public for lunch and evening meals.
